seamstress | acrylic, pastel, oil on canvas | 50x70" | 2010
james jean is a taiwanese-american artist whose work i've been following recently. i love that u can see the evolution of his work in his portfolio. and i love the mix of elements in each piece, as well as his control and use of color. the piece above - "seamstress" - is his latest, and it looks like he's exploring new methods in his art.
it seems he'll be in a show with david choe in tokyo in a week or so! pretty exciting!!
