[ david j. schwen ] gyro

there used to be a gyro place in the mall called great wraps. i had been eating there since i was a wee little one, when we first moved to bville 18 (holy crap) years ago. the guy who owned it was iranian so he remembered me throughout the years, even now as i'm working at aveda. and the gyros, i must say, were pretty delish for being mall-food.

unfortunately great wraps closed up shop a month or two ago. it's now under construction to be something else (kabobs?). RIP great wraps. you are missed.

aren't david schwen's typographical representations of food EXTREMELY FUN? i love it. those would be the kinds of things i'd wanna hang in my kitchen. imagine it as iranian food. or korea food. the endless possibilities.
