[ nervous system ] orchid II necklace

whenever i get dressed, i put on layer upon layer of clothing. my mom actually calls me an onion ("piaz" in farsi... which is actually quite cute). i guess it's something i picked up in korea, where layering is a fuge fashion trend.

this necklace by the ever cool jewelry designers at nervous system is made up of 39 (thirty nine!) layers of plastic. very awesome idea... its almost like the time i had to build a 3D model for my surface design class in korea (which didn't turn out so well by the way). love their other jewelry too but this orchid necklace really stood out!
