of course im about to make a harry potter reference right now. but you all already know how much of a harry potter nerd i am, so it's okay. (it is, isn't it??)

the bird in the picture above reminds me of the time sirius black sent harry a letter by way of tropical bird. this, of course, led harry to assume his godfather was safe in hiding somewhere beachy.

enough with the dorkiness. but i am a huge fan of andrew zuckerman's photography. his newest photography book - simple titled "bird" - features exquisite pictures of various flyers. such a CLEAN, colorful approach to photography. it's so refreshing.
