i re-stumbled across forestbound the other day and decided i should showcase it here because the bags are beautiful. all of forestbound's bags and totes are made from found materials, such as old apple-picking sacks and other historic textiles. the bags are utilitarian and simple, which makes them masculine in a way. i feel like any of the bags could be used by a female or male. and, if you know me, you know i kind of gravitate towards more simple, masculine purses for whatever reason - so these bags are absolutely perfect!
the bag above is my favorite in the forestbound etsy shop and its made out of worn-in canvas from a canadian military duffel bag during WWII. because a lot of the fabrics/textiles are old, the bags have this aged look that really works. very old and very cool.
