the credit for this this blog post goes to new momma autumn. first off, congrats girl! and second off, this is SO freakin cool ~ thanks for sharing with meee!

dalton ghetti does pencil tip sculptures. yup. he sits there and carves intricate sculptures into pencil tips. above is his a through z collection, where he carved a letter of the alphabet into each pencil. but he's also done elvis, a hammer, two linked hearts (so crazy!!!), and more! i couldn't find a good website of his own to share but theres some good coverage of him at the new york times. what i find most fascinating is that he doesn't use a magnifying glass when he's sculpting... and each piece can take up to a decade to finish. amazing.
