i totally forgot to share my last card with you all. it's one i made for jen unnz, when i was sending her a box of american cheetos from the US to korea. and she sent me korean cheetos which i freakin love. i have one bag left and dubz better hurry up before i accidentally eat it. ok jk i wouldn't do that.... meeheehee.

so anywho! i had this sketch in the same sketchbook as the hibernate print i sent erise my ruvvvv. i did a buncha sketches of animals that aren't really animals. some of them are mixed up... like hybrid, you could say. and others are clearly just not real. i may scan the rest of the drawings and make them into cards for the upcoming holiday season. we shall see.

i willllll be working on some fun card designs though, so keep an eye out for those!~ i might not share them with you guys til after i've delivered them to people though... so it might be in january that you'll get to see!

here's an illustration i did for erise my ruv. i sent it to her with her birthday things (purchased in korea, but of course) a few weeks ago. btw, can i just gripe about how slow the US postal service is for a second? i sent her and autumn their packages on a thursday and it took a good week and a half to get to michigan from maryland. unnz sent me a package from korea and it took exactly 4 days (INCLUDING weekend) to get to maryland... from SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA. there's something wrong w/ this picture, no?

anyways.

this little (large) guy is a made-up animal from a sketchbook i kept a few years ago full of animal hybrids. his favorite thing to do is hibernate (like our doggie suzzy) with a little toothy grin on his fluffy face. beware of his hands and foots though, as one half-hearted swipe from him could very easily concuss you.

when i was in korea this summer, i wanted to find autumn something cute to dress baby oli in when he was born. and i finally found some ADORKABLE socks. so i got home from korea and put these adorkable socks in a package. anddd i wanted to send her a card too, congratulating her on her BOOTAFUL babby.

i decided to make the card meself and this is what came of my design endeavour (sp?). whatcha think? i hope autumn liiiiiikes eet!!!!

[ be • fore • % ] fish juice chillin' birthday card

like i mentioned before, it was dubz's birthday yesterday. and we ate some dericious food at iron bridge wine co. (one of my favorite restaurants in the area... if not my absolute favorite). since i got to give dubz his birfday presents and birfday card (above), i get to share it w/ u today! yayy! there are a few other cards i also designed that i'll share later on - once the ppl i'm sending them to have received them.

remember 노량진/noryangjin? i blogged about the fish market before. well, this card is based on our outing there. and i won't say anymore hahaha.

sidenote: i figured i'd start posting my design/art work on society 6 - under the "studio name" be • fore • %. it's a play on my callme4percent blog name.
